I love this sprinkler. From the spiked feet, to the quick-adjusting legs, to the sturdy metal sprinkler head, Nelson has produced a true, quality product.
this sprinkler broke only after less than 10 uses. technically it's partially broken: it will still sprinkle but only in 1 direction and will only sprinkle the entire circle.
when I first got it, I was able to customize how much of the circle of water got water ; it would every so often reverse it's direction/the way it sprinkled so it would give better coverage of water on the ground. though it did seem to get more water on the edges of the circle of water it laid down vs. the whole circle being evenly watered.
I suppose the bonus is that the head can be replaced, but who knows how long a new one will last. ugh.
do yourself a favor and buy the "Gilmour 196SPB Pattern Master Impulse Sprinkler". It sits on the ground, but has a better range and fuller coverage of the whole circle of water that is sprayed - not just th edges. it's also truly customizable (see my review of it).
