These are the best gloves I have ever used. They fit well, a bit on the snug side, but they wear in fine. They have a nice thick leather grip in the palm area, however if you are gardening in the heat this might be a bit too much thickness for you. I am on the coast, and heat isn't much of a problem here. The velcro around the wrist keeps dirt from getting into the gloves, something that is a pet peeve of mine, and the velcro is nice and tough. All in all they are a great buy for the money.
