These sprinklers were just what I needed to water an odd shaped bed. I had been trying to use flat soaker/spray hoses, but I couldn't position the hoses to water all the plants. Plus, the hoses would turn and flip and water would end up over spraying in the yard rather than on the plants I was trying to water. I originally ordered 2 kits to see how they worked and then ordered 2 more. I was hoping you could string them together but there isn't enough water pressure to activate more than the 3 sprinklers in the kit, so I can only run one kit (3 sprinklers) at a time. The 3 sprinkler kit will water an area about about 40 ft long.
I needed a decent sprinkler system for an odd shaped yard. Using a large impulse sprinkler soaks the vehicles in the driveway, even when aimed right, which causes nasty spotting. Using this system, the water flow is relatively low to the ground, and easily aimed. The 3 heads w/ decent hose length, coupled with the 4 variable spray patterns, makes it pretty easy to water your yard and keep the water off the places that don't need it. I just placed an order for a second set.
